This is a collection of songs that I recorded this summer, but have written over many years. Any one who knows me knows that I have strong feelings about streaming music and the effect it has on the industry. However, I also understand that I am in the minority here. Knowing this, I have decided to release this project on Bandcamp exclusively, and will donate any and all profits to combating the harsh struggles of life that have taken so many of my friends from me. This is a tough time of year for a lot of folks, and it is important to keep that in mind while you are celebrating the holidays.

Many will find it shocking that the first project I am releasing in years contains no guitar pedals. This EP was a project built around simplicity. I wanted something naked and raw that focused on lyricism and conveyed emotional conviction. Relinquishing any and all distractions that could be created through a more complex sound. One guitar, one microphone, one person, and as little post-production as I could bare to release this with.

Some of these songs are over a decade old. Some of them were written as recently as a few months ago. There are a lot of relationships in my life that have ended too soon, and some of them are still too fresh to write about. As previously mentioned, it has taken me over 10 years to get some of these words out. Here is hoping that recent losses don't take me as long.

Reach out to the people you love. Ask them if they're doing okay. Then make sure to let them know that it's okay if they aren't. They are not alone.
